first Lynk & Co 03 TCR in Australia revealed

The new Autoglym livery has been revealed on the Lynk & Co 03 TCR, the first of its kind to appear in Australia, ahead of its Supercheap Auto TCR Australia debut at Phillip Island with driver Tom Oliphant. The new car replaces the team's previous Alfa Romeo entry and is supported by AWC, WIN Network and i98 FM.

“Tim from TP Race Design has done an outstanding job of making the new Lynk & Co 03 TCR look like it belongs out in front, with a big and bold livery designed in Autoglym colours,” said David Turney, Head of Marketing, Autoglym Australia

“From any angle, this car definitely has some muscle, and the new livery captures every flex, perfectly. We can’t wait to see it turning race laps, for the first time here in Australia, at Phillip Island this weekend,” concluded Turney.

Oliphant, a British Touring Car Championship race winner, was impressive in his Australian racing debut in round one of TCR Australia, finishing fifth overall. Prior to the race, Oliphant and the ASM team put the Lynk & Co 03 TCR through its paces at a Phillip Island test day, getting to know the freshly rebuilt chassis.

“The car looks phenomenal and will certainly stand out amongst the TCR Australia field. I was able to do some testing in the car a couple of weeks ago and was extremely impressed by it. The Lynk & Co feels like a proper race car, and it’s clear that a lot of time and money has been spent in its development.

This marks the debut of automotive brand Lynk & Co in Australia, as the car is the first of its kind to appear in the country. Lynk & Co was established as a joint venture between Geely Auto Group and Volvo Car group.
